POSTURE

Grip and posture are two of the most basic elements of a proper golf swing.  They are also the two things you can quickly establish since you work on them while standing still.  They are important because they keep your back straight and ensure you bend at the hips. Other aspects of your swing take more time and focus since they occur while you’re swinging the club.

Establishing good posture isn’t optional.  It is a necessary component of a proper golf swing.  Good posture prevents back injuries and positions your body to make a good swing.  The video below illustrates the basics of establishing proper posture.
